طبق تحقیقات خبرگزاری خلیجتایمز، استفادهی تفریحی از پهپادها در دبی هنوز ممنوع است. این موضوع در حالی اعلام میشود که روز سهشنبه اعلام شد اداره کل هوانوردی GCAA امارات ممنوعیت استفاده از پهپادهای شخصی را تحت شرایطی لغو کرده است.
با این حال از قرار معلوم این موضوع شامل دبی نمیشود زیرا مقررات پروازی تحت نظارت اداره هوانوردی دبی DCAA است.
تعدادی از ساکنان دبی روز چهارشنبه ایمیلی از DCAA دریافت کردند که به آنها گفته بود استفاده تفریحی از پهپادها هنوز تا اطلاع ثانوی در دبی ممنوع است.
